My top five favorite movies to watch during the Holiday season.

It’s the holiday season! If you watch the video above, you’ll see that I am missing my Santa hat and have not decorated my home yet. Despite that, I got into the holiday spirit and won’t talk about real estate; instead, I’m sharing some of my favorite Christmas movies. Some that made it to my list are old, and some are new, but they are mostly comedies, so they should give you an idea of my sense of humor.

Here are my top five favorite movies to watch during Christmas in ascending order:

1. “The Santa Clause.” In the original movie, Tim Allen falls off the roof and becomes Santa Claus. His wife thinks he’s crazy as they go through their divorce. I really enjoyed watching this movie when I was a kid.

2. “Bad Santa.” This movie is always good for a few laughs! Billy Bob Thornton as Santa is broke and an alcoholic, but he does some pretty funny stuff.

“Most of the movies that made it to my list are comedies.”

3. “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” The scene in the movie with the RV is unforgettable! During the holidays, we’re dealing with family and having a fun time, which makes this movie very relatable.

4. “Die Hard.” This is a highly debated choice, but I love the Die Hard series. I even have a good friend who watches it around 14 times during this time of year. It’s not exactly a Christmas-based movie, but it’s definitely worth watching during Christmas.

5. “Home alone.” I love watching Macaulay Culkin and the Wet Bandits. Even the sequel was a good one as well. Whenever Home Alone is on, I always watch it since it’s a classic.

As a bonus feature, I want you to check out “Fat Man.” It stars Mel Gibson as Santa Claus. I’m sure you’ll find it interesting and a refreshing change to your average Christmas movie. That sums up my list, and I hope you enjoy your time with family holidays! As always, if you have any real estate questions, call or email me. I’m always happy to help.
